The only legacy Cory left behind is she restored democracy in our country but..the legacy on how she run the country during her administration is a big question in terms of infrastracture, economy, social and political issues. Speaking of infrastracture and economy, 8 hours a day brown out in metro manila and other provinces that plunged our GNP & GDP into almost zero. Speaking of social issues, she abolished the population control program that was started by Marcos. The quality of education started deteriorating during her term and there was no action was done. In political issue, there were so many military coup during her term which she had done nothing to unite the Armed Forces. Also the Kamag-anak Inc during her term. Environmental speaking, it was during her term that she allowed to import second hand buses and cars that caused air pollution in metro manila. The Mendiola massacre, hacienda luisita issues.

i was only 5yrs old when EDSA 1 happened and i dont even have any memories of cory being president, i practically grow up with mr. Ramos, Estrada and GMA leadership, also i do not believe that their was a president who aims bad for their countrymen, but when cory aquino died, and the whole media entity utter her selflessness story of love and integrity to lead our nation back to democracy. same with well known official showing their respect to her as a boss, i realized only now that she was really not just great but excemptional leader of our country only now i known her difference with the leader i practically grown with, her wealth never grown as much as it should be before and after her leadership, unlike the leaders i have known that increase thier assets so high and fast than we can imagine. only now i realize how fortunate we are:Filipinos to have a leader like her only now i was awaken of how much sacrifices this lady with her family given to us, for all of us to enjoy democracy we have now and only now i promise that i will be vigilant and alert on preserving this democcracy againts to those who wanted to abuse and take the power only by themselves this is what MADAM CORY AQUINO death done in me thank you for reminding youth like me to protect the democracy you fought for us many years ago, and may your story continue to live on, lively in generation comes
